For Stage 3, in our journey of finding more grip, we start to take a serious look at all the control arms. The goal is to continue to increase grip, steering feel & reduce unwanted suspension deflection.

The front end utilizes 3 arms with the struts taking a bulk of lateral load. By now the majority of front end components are upgraded, the final piece of the puzzle is the lower control arm. The Stage 3 simply replaces the inner lower control arms housing the rubber bushings with motorsport engineered billet replacements with precision spherical aurora bearings. These super high quality bearings reduce drag, allowing the lower control arm full range of motion without the compromising “bushing twist”. Additionally, these bearings continue to help us reduce suspension deflection, thus reducing geometry change underload.

In the rear of the GT3 / GT3 RS, the cars utilize a 5 link setup. At this point, the only monoball ends are the bearings incorporated in the RWS (Rear Wheel Steer) unit itself. Stage 3 addresses rear suspension arms first with billet inner control arm replacements.  With a 5-link rear suspension fully attached by rubber, it is critical to reduce deflection. Eliminating the stock bushings and utilizing spherical aurora bearings correct the unwanted deflection thus help maintain the alignment under corner load. Just like the front, the rear control arm now has full range of near frictionless motion, and no longer is it relying on rubber “bushing twist”.

The Stage 3+ finishes off the 2 piece lower control arms with billet machined and matched outer control arms front & rear. These arms are super lightweight & stronger than stock. They also include spherical aurora bearings for near frictionless motion, strength and reduced deflection.
